Because, let's face it, I am not in the same hot super model class as a lot of transwomen out there, especially some of the younger ones. But then I thought, so what? I am not ashamed of my body. I've watched Gok Wan, and if those ladies can do it, then so can I.... :-)
I am still losing weight and toning my bod up, and have achieved a great deal, but I can see there is still a lot left to do, especially around my waist. To describe my current body shape as Rubenesque might be OTT, but a Cher I am not.
Anyone who knows me knows how picky I am over any photos of me. I usually hate them, and have in in the past threatened friends with dire and painful consequences if they post one that I feel is awful, which to their frustration is about 99% of them.
But in this case, I think I looked OK. It wasn't a portrait shot with perfect lighting and pose. I was just getting ready to go out, saw myself in the hall mirror as I was passing, and thought I looked alright. I took a few shots with terrible light, and this one came out looking half presentable.

Brave lass, I stride happily along my naturist beach but hardly dare show myself clothed! I have cut out Magnum lollies in an effort to regain a waist...
I know girls in the north of England are well known for going out skimpily dressed but that outfit will have turned heads...

There's been the odd "Tsk Tsk", but overall the reaction has been positive.
Not sure why some disapproved. There's no more sexual content there than in any underwear advert.
Maybe it's an age thing? If I was 25 everyine would be saying "Atta-girl!", but because I am middle-aged with a less than perfect figure, it's not the done thing...?
Never mind. I enjoyed it and might well do it again, properly next time. I'm pleased with my bod and the way it is shaping up. :-)
BTW, the page got more hits in less than 24 hours than any other blog page of mine has over the whole of this month..

Petra, the girdle and bra set is a one-off.
It's very "Mad Men" and the combination is not available in the shops, although the bra might be found on its own.

A few may think it's inappropriate, but you're such a pretty thing, with such a sweet smile on your face. It's rare that you would be so pleased with a photo of yourself, and I'm happy and proud to see you feeling so confident. And I don't mind people knowing just how sexy my sweetie is ... ! ;-) Quite the contrary. You've come such a long way, and have every right to want to show it off a bit.
